Mystro leverages a robust tech stack to provide a seamless and efficient trip planning experience. The application is developed using Swift, ensuring optimal performance on iOS devices. Integration with the Google Places API enables users to search and save travel destinations effortlessly. Realm is employed for efficient data modeling and storage, providing quick access to user data. Web service communication is handled by Alamofire, ensuring reliable and fast interactions with backend services. The app also includes secure authentication options via Google and Facebook sign-ins, enhancing user convenience and security.
Mystro is a trip planning iOS application designed to help users efficiently plan their vacations. The app integrates heavily with the third party map APIs to suggest, search, and save places, making it easier for users to decide what to do on their trips. It also allowed the user to add notes for places of interest, letting them relive their trip after they returned back home.
The client initially only had a design document of the app flow. I worked with the client to determine the best technologies to use. From there, I was responsible for creating the app from scratch. Finishing the Mystro project resulted in a highly functional and user-friendly trip planning application. Users can now easily search for, save, and organize places for their vacations, enhancing their travel planning experience. The integration of Google and Facebook sign-ins further simplified the user authentication process, making Mystro a convenient and efficient tool for travelers.
