A platform for live, online music lessons from anywhere

Forte is a digital platform that connects music learners with professional teachers for high-quality online lessons. With an audio-optimized video interface and a diverse network of vetted instructors, Forte is modernizing the way students of all levels access and experience music education.
Brief Forte needed to stand out in a crowded market while building trust with both students and teachers. The product was strong, but the brand identity was outdated and did not keep up with the industry expectations. As the company grew, it became essential to refresh the visual identity, streamline the product experience, and elevate the overall perception of the brand.
Design Approach
I led a full brand refresh while keeping the existing logo per request of the Founders, and reimagining everything around it including new brand colors, graphic patterns, photography style, and illustration direction. I designed a system of social media templates to support consistency across channels, and I redesigned both the marketing website and in-app experiences to better guide users through the conversion journey. I also influenced UI decisions in collaboration with the product and engineering teams to improve clarity and usability.
Success
Following the brand refresh and strategic marketing rollout, Forte quickly gained recognition within the music industry. Our elevated visual identity and clear messaging attracted the attention of major players, leading to partnerships with renowned organizations like The Recording Academy (The GRAMMYs) and Sweetwater. I developed cross-promotional graphics for these collaborations, ensuring every visual touchpoint communicated Forte’s professionalism, creativity, and position as a leading voice in online music education.
