Context & Challenge:
The project involved redefining the digital driver experience in MAN Trucks, modernizing the cockpit after over a decade.
Challenges included:
Addressing multiple truck applications (long-haul, agriculture, distribution transport).
Ensuring an intuitive digital experience while preserving industry familiarity.
My Approach & Process:
Led the UX+UI design for the digital driver dashboard.
Collaborated with developers, engineers, and executives to align on user needs and tech feasibility.
Conducted user research with over 700 truck drivers, using simulation studies, task tracking, eye tracking, card sorting, and usability tests.
Outcome & Impact:
Successfully launched the new MAN Truck Generation in 2020.
Awarded the German Design Award 2021 (Gold), UX Design Award 2020, and Red Dot Design Award 2020.
