Open Avenues is a nonprofit that helps talented immigrants on the H-1B visa become cap-exempt, and apply for renewal anytime in the year instead of waiting in the lottery system through a pretty incredible model they engineered.
I am their go-to copywriter for all things social, email, and annual reports.
In tandem, I also write for Danielle Goldman (co-founder of Open Avenues). Because LinkedIn's algorithm prioritizes individual users' content over brands, we used Danielle's LinkedIn to increase brand awareness for Open Avenues.
To promote their upcoming panel at NY #TechWeek, which gets approximately 16,000 people and hosts 300+ events. They wanted to get 250 RSVPs to their block.
In the end, they got over 450 registrants online.
