Overview
The Shxwowhaml project focused on creating a cohesive brand identity and an effective website for the Shxwowhaml First Nation. The primary goal was to enhance communication with community members, ensuring they have easy access to information about services, programs, and governance. This project aimed to foster transparency and engagement within the community.
In collaboration with By Common Good, I designed a user-friendly website that serves as a central hub for the Shxwowhaml First Nation. The main challenge was addressing the communication gap between the leadership and community members. To tackle this issue, we prioritized showcasing all available services and benefits clearly and transparently.
Website Layout & Navigation: The website features a clean layout with intuitive navigation, allowing users to easily find information on programs, resources, and community initiatives.
Content Strategy: I worked closely with community leaders to present information in a way that is relatable and accessible. We highlighted key services and initiatives to ensure that members understand the benefits available to them.
Visual Identity Integration: The design incorporates elements of the Shxwowhaml brand identity, including the logo, color palette, and typography, creating a cohesive experience that reflects the culture and values of the First Nation.
Transparency was a key objetive for the governance and staff members
