In collaboration with David, the founder of Iberia Tile, I undertook the role of UX/UI Designer to revamp their digital presence through a visually compelling website. Leveraging my expertise with design process and branding the project aimed to encapsulate Iberia Tile's unique brand identity and communicate it effectively to its audience.
Business goals
To improve online presence, reach a larger audience, showcase its expertise and enhance its business credibility
Communicate value proposition by providing comprehensive information about its services.
Help customers navigate through information.
User Problem
Users struggle to find essential information about the business, such as its services, contact details, and portfolio.
Design Process
Getting to know the niche business and its users
First thing first. I communicated with stakeholders to uncover the goals of the product, project scope, target audience, and specifics of their niche.
What do you want to accomplish with the website?
Where is your audience coming to this website from?
What features or functionalities do you wish your website had?
Are there any rules or limitations?
We did map out the customer journey to understand which exact part I could help to grow. And created efficient concepts, flows, and experiences.
Wireframes
As we have a picture of what we have and what we want we go further by mapping out all our ideas for the future website to choose the best.
Moodboard
The next step of our process is to establish the visual direction. According to client preferences in all options I presented, I tried to adhere to natural shades that are present in modern interior design.
UI Design
After we chose the visual direction which the client wanted to be clean, easy and professional. I created and presented three UI concepts to the client and then iterated the chosen concept to achieve the best possible outcome.
Outcome & key results
Communication is a key to successful project
Throughout the project, I worked closely with David to ensure that we were always on the same page and that his input was not only valuable but also considered. I am a firm believer that transparent and assertive communication is the key to a successful project outcome.
Calendly is super helpful
Using existing functionality saves time, allowing us to test our assumptions more quickly — saving time and resources that would have been spent on developing a new tool from scratch.
