Landing page & marketing design for the Symphony of Minds event that took place on October 12th 2024 in Nicosia, Cyprus
About
TEDxEleftheriaSquare 2024, themed Symphony of Minds, celebrated the power of ideas to inspire change, bringing together diverse speakers to explore global issues. As the sole web designer, I crafted the event’s main landing page and an interactive program page (libretto) that attendees used as a digital agenda.
Under the guidance of the project's art director, I also collaborated on key design tasks, including social media sales campaigns and partner promotional materials, ensuring cohesive and accommodating partnerships.
Key Deliverables
Landing page in Tilda: developed, maintained, and refined the event’s primary digital interface.
Libretto (Agenda) page in Tilda: designed for attendees to use as a digital agenda during the event.
Testing & Iteration: to improve usability and boost conversion rates, I conducted web audits and user tests to identify key issues with the website usability, making consistent improvements in the months leading up to the event.
Social media design: Custom post, story, & video template designs for marketing campaigns, announcements and speaker features. Designed profile layouts and highlight covers, ensuring a consistent brand identity across all platforms.
Marketing materials: Created engaging and visually appealing newsletter designs that drove ticket sales and built anticipation for the event.
Results
Established web presence: designed and developed the project’s digital footprint, resulting in increased recognition and brand awareness.
Engaged users & guests: the event agenda page received 350+ visitors on the day of the event, informing guests of the timelines and immersing them in the symphony experience.
Maintained brand consistency: collaborated closely with the art director to ensure all marketing and web materials perfectly aligned with the brand identity and visual storytelling of the event.
Boosted ticket sales: worked closely with the marketing team to create visually compelling social media ad campaigns to meet ticket sales goals in the weeks leading up to the event.
Delivered results under tight deadlines & pressure to meet sales quotas: last minute changes, concept generation, brainstorming, quick edits and more. Proved to be a reliable and versatile creative contributor.
