Client: Sabi Market Industry: B2B E-Commerce for Africa’s informal trade sector Objective: Design a seamless buyer experience that supports discovery, onboarding, order & account management, and efficient checkouts for SMEs. Role: Product Designer – Buyer Side Scope: UX Research, Flows, Wireframes, UI Design, Prototyping Year: 2025

The Challenge

Buyers—mostly small retailers—faced fragmented processes for sourcing goods: switching between suppliers, struggling with refunds, and dealing with order delays. The platform needed to:
Make onboarding quick and intuitive, especially for first-time users.
Provide clear navigation for browsing products, managing carts, and checking out.
Offer account tools like adding store locations and tracking orders.
Build trust through transparent payments and order visibility.

A clean, mobile-first catalog with robust search and filtering for fast product discovery.
Onboarding & Account Setup
Simplified sign-up with phone/email.
Guided onboarding to set up profiles and add branches/store locations.
