Introduction
Catlog is the Shopify for Africa small businesses by providing tools for business owners to take orders via social media and seamlessly manage their orders & customers, collect payments easily and deliver items without hassle.
Why Catlog
The Problem
The struggles African online vendors face showcasing their products is real where they sell products and services on social media platforms (Instagram, X, WhatsApp and Facebook) which is super overwhelming.
Vendors switched from one platform to the other and had no unified inventory for their products and services, making it difficult for them to track customers, invoices, orders, deliveries and so forth.
These difficulties caused frequent issues such as wrong orders, delay in delivery, invoice failures, inconsistent branding, unnecessary ads, and even scams.
The Solution
Catlog is the platform all small business need. Catlog helps businesses take orders via chat, manage their businesses & get paid easily.
In collaboration with the CEO, I led the product and web design phase where we created a seamless experience for vendors to setup their online stores, uploading all their products and services in a unified space in 5 minutes.
