The Project Specs ℹ️
Working with a content agency, this client wanted a long-form (3,000-word) blog post promoting their e-learning software and its gamification features.
They requested:
Two tables
Three numbered lists
Three bulleted lists
A bolded sentence in each section
Ten internal links, five external links
Three memes
Four core keywords

The Collab 🫶
I worked with my content writing agency to create a comprehensive outline, completing thorough research on pain points and industry statistics for education. I designed tables, informative lists and sourced relevant tasteful memes.
The tables I created were to showcase the breakdown of gamification benefits.
This long-form blog post serves as a comprehensive guide to gamification features in e-learning software, what they are, why its beneficial, and why they work based on data.

The Creative Process 🪜
As with all my creative content writing, the process is simple but effective...
First, I am presented with an idea, a goal, and chosen keywords.
Next, I read through this client's mission statement, current blog, and social media content. My focus is on getting to know the organization from the bottom up--including its current reach + audience. I get to work on an outline. Then I perform a thorough scrub of relevant research and push the gas pedal (keyboard keys, of course), and start crafting content that is both compelling and appealing to the target audience. Of course, I include SEO keywords and internal linking in a natural, conversational way--never in a forced way.
Last, I run my professional editor's eyes over the article before submitting it to the client. If the article is accepted, then all is well. If edits are requested, I make them ASAP.
We all live happily ever after 🌈
The Outcome 🏆
This article was a crucial step in increasing this client's visibility. The long-form content kept the company ranking well, and the quality of the content captured readers. I broke down the technical content into relatable, bite-sized pieces of information (also called microlearning, by the way).
