Project Overview
Client: IT Cyber Vets
Industry: Non-Profit / IT Staffing
Services: Brand Identity Design
Deliverables: Logo system, color palette, typography, brand applications
IT Cyber Vets is a veteran-owned non-profit organization focused on providing IT staffing solutions for federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as strategic partner companies. The goal was to create a brand identity that communicates trust, military precision, and technical expertise—without looking dated or overly aggressive.
The Challenge
IT Cyber Vets was starting from scratch with no existing visual identity. The brand needed to:
Instantly feel credible and authoritative to government agencies
Reflect military discipline and structure
Clearly align with information technology and cybersecurity
Remain modern, scalable, and usable across digital platforms
There were no predefined colors, references, or inspirations—giving full creative responsibility to define the brand from the ground up.
Brand Strategy & Direction
The design direction was built around three core pillars:
Trust & Reliability – Essential for government and institutional clients
Military Precision – Clean geometry, symmetry, and structure
Modern Cyber Identity – Forward-thinking, digital-first aesthetics
Rather than leaning on literal military symbols, the identity uses abstract, disciplined forms that subtly reference hierarchy, protection, and systems—key concepts in both military operations and cybersecurity.
Logo Design
The logo mark is a minimal, geometric symbol designed to feel:
Structured and intentional
Technically intelligent
Strong without being aggressive
Its symmetry and layered construction reference command structure, defense, and systems security, making it adaptable across platforms—from large banners to small app icons.
The wordmark complements the symbol with a bold, modern type treatment that reinforces authority and clarity.
Color System
The color palette was intentionally kept tight and purposeful:
Deep Navy & Indigo: Authority, trust, professionalism
Cyber Green Accent: Technology, growth, digital intelligence
This contrast allows the brand to feel serious and institutional while still standing out in digital environments.
Typography
A modern, highly legible sans-serif typeface was selected to reinforce:
Precision
Readability at all sizes
Digital-first usage
The typography system ensures consistency across government proposals, web platforms, and social media assets.
Brand Applications
The identity was designed to scale seamlessly across real-world use cases, including:
Website and digital platforms
Social media branding
Business cards and stationery
App icons and UI elements
Each application maintains clarity, hierarchy, and professionalism—key requirements for IT staffing and government-facing organizations.
Final Outcome
The final brand identity positions IT Cyber Vets as:
Trustworthy and credible
Veteran-led and disciplined
Technically capable and future-ready
The system is flexible, modern, and built for long-term growth—allowing the organization to confidently present itself to agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
