Appx Tech brand identity design logo, business cards, and branded merchandise for a modern technology company.

Project Overview

Appx Tech needed a brand identity that felt sharp, modern, and instantly recognizable across both digital and physical touchpoints, from a business card handed to a client to a cap worn at a conference. I designed the full identity system: logo mark, business stationery, and branded apparel/merchandise.

The Mark

The Appx Tech identity centers on a bold, abstract "A" monogram, a geometric red square mark paired with a clean, modern sans-serif wordmark. Designed to scale from a favicon to a billboard without sacrificing clarity, the mark uses negative space to suggest motion and forward momentum, which is well-suited to a tech forward brand.

Business Stationery

A two-sided business card system built for a confident first impression: a bold red front carrying the full logo lockup, and a clean white reverse with structured contact hierarchy name, title, phone, email, website, and address, separated with a simple rule line for easy scanning. Designed to feel executive and trustworthy at a glance.

Branded Apparel

The identity extended to team and event apparel, with a centered logo lockup on a light grey tee, keeping the red-and-black mark as the clear focal point. Built as part of a broader merchandise system so the brand feels consistent whether it's on a laptop sticker or a conference t-shirt.

Merchandise & Applications

A red and white baseball cap with an embroidered front placement of the wordmark designed to test how the identity holds up in real-world, physical formats beyond digital. This kind of application shows clients the brand isn't just a logo file it's a full, wearable system ready for team gifting, client swag, or trade show presence.

App Icon Design

The logo mark was adapted into a native iOS app icon tested directly on an iPhone home screen alongside familiar system apps like Calendar, Photos, and Mail to confirm it reads clearly at real-world size and holds its own next to established brands. The rounded-square red icon with the white "A" mark stays sharp and recognizable even at the small scale of a phone screen, proving the identity works as hard on a device as it does on a business card.

The Result

A complete, versatile brand identity system from the core logo mark to stationery to apparel, giving Appx Tech a bold, recognizable presence across every customer and team touchpoint.
