VegExpress grows and processes fruit in Jos and sells it frozen, pressed and blended, delivered cold across Abuja. They wanted a website that felt as good as the product, that people could actually buy from, and that the team could run themselves afterwards.
The owner needed an admin they already understood. The shopper needed a page that opens on a phone, on mobile data, in the few seconds before they go back to WhatsApp. So I split it: WooCommerce stays the back office, and the storefront is a fast static site on Cloudflare's edge, with Paystack checkout.
Handover was the feature. When anyone saves a product in WooCommerce, the site rebuilds itself a couple of minutes later. The owner changes a price in the app on their phone and the website follows, without calling anyone.
The client asked for discount codes, then clarified that what they really wanted was to know which creators were sending customers. So referral codes are zero percent coupons, with a report showing each creator's orders and revenue. Prices stay intact.
