Facelift UI Design for Logistik Software

VCE Solutions offers software solutions in the field of logistics like package labeling and freight cost control. VCE does have great software developers, but no inhouse UI/UX designer. That’s why they asked me if I can help to create a fresh and clean look.

To display the information in a clear, understandable way, I first aimed to understand all functions of the software. After that I gave recommendations regarding the software structure which the client implemented. Then I worked on the UI. The functions and displayed informations is quite complex. So I put a certain focus on grouping elements that belong togehter using a certain background color and smart use of space, so the complex information gets easier to digest. One important additional issue was a chaos of different styles. So created a new unified style, that is possible to implement with the framework that was in use (Fomantic UI).
