I worked with Neighbours United to redesign their home page. Neighbours United is a non-profit organization leading canvassing programs and campaigns to create a more sustainable community.

I worked with Neighbours United to audit their current website, strategize their brand, and redesign several pages to reflect their ideas and vision.

Our goal was to attract and inform new and current volunteers about the ways that they can get involved to help their community. There are many ways that volunteers can work with Neighbours United, and we want to create a better way to learn more about their opportunities and impact.

We worked with the Neighbours United team to talk through their current website needs, goals, and their desired outcome for their users. Their website is used to inform and attract new volunteers about their projects and the work that they do to help the community. We worked to define their volunteer journey.

Once the volunteer journey was defined, we started to discuss how we could better put this into action to drive users to the take action page. By better defining our CTA, providing more information, and giving new volunteers a clear path to help the organization we decided to start our design process.

We introduced a true button color as well as primary and secondary actions. By using a primary button for Take Action, we can drive users to this page to start their journey with Neighbours United.

Next we started to redesign the Take Action page to better reflect our new volunteer journey. We will continue to add design elements, discuss with the business, and add content throughout the website to show volunteers who Neighbours United are and how they can help.
