What draws a student to an online university? We focused on one-on-one interviews and Reddit discussions around online courses. Students love the flexibility but have concerns about credit transfers, available resources, and the cost versus time to complete a degree. National University has a strong student base of veterans who benefit greatly from tuition assistance, which ultimately became a target audience that we researched and found could be more efficiently targeted.
