Project: Design + development of a premium tea culture website
01. Overview:
Discovercha is a platform that blends rare Chinese tea retail with tea-culture education. I was responsible for UI polishing in Figma and end-to-end development in Framer, creating a clean, premium, culturally expressive digital experience.
02. The Challenge:
The brand needed a website that:
Felt premium, calm, and culturally authentic
Combined e-commerce and learning without overwhelming users
Showcased teas and courses in a simple, modern, trustworthy way
Could scale as more teas and courses are added
03. My Process:
A. UI Refinement in Figma
Polished existing UI concepts into clean, minimal, high-end visuals
Defined spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
Curated imagery and colors to reflect tea culture and premium quality
Optimized product cards, course cards, and navigation structure
B. UX Simplification
Flattened the navigation into Shop, Courses, and Story
Ensured users can switch between “buying” and “learning” with zero confusion
Clean information architecture: no clutter, no friction
