Pickleball Base Osaka opened in April 2026 on the 6th floor of Hotel Agora Regency Osaka Sakai in Sakai City, one of the largest dedicated pickleball facilities in Japan with six international standard courts. To celebrate the launch, pickleball brand 3rd Shot commissioned a full co-branded product collection designed exclusively for the facility.
Having previously designed the 3rd Shot brand identity, I was brought back to extend that visual language into a complete apparel and equipment line built around the energy and aesthetic of the new courts.
The collection spans three colorways pulled directly from the facility, white, pink, and blue, applied consistently across tees, structured hats, shorts, and a skirt. Every garment was designed from scratch with original graphics, ensuring the collection felt like a genuine collaboration between the two brands rather than a logo placement exercise.
Beyond apparel, the project extended into equipment design. Custom pickleball balls featuring the 3rd Shot logo were developed for the facility, alongside two signature rackets in white and black, each finished with a tan leather grip that added a premium handcrafted detail to an otherwise technical product.
The result is a cohesive launch collection that works across court and lifestyle contexts, giving Pickleball Base Osaka a distinct visual identity at opening and giving 3rd Shot a meaningful presence in one of Japan's most prominent new pickleball destinations.
