Concrete Lungs

Creative process
This project began with a fictional post-punk/industrial band. I focused on translating their raw, brutal energy into a bold visual language — using brutalist layouts, concrete textures, sharp typography, and high-contrast black & white visuals. The goal was to capture the roughness and underground spirit of the genre.
Problem solved
The challenge was to create a graphic universe for a band that doesn’t exist, but that feels real and rooted in a specific scene. I had to build authenticity through a consistent aesthetic that speaks directly to fans of industrial and punk subcultures.
My role
I imagined and designed everything: the concert poster, merchandising visuals (T-shirt and tote bag), and identity elements. This project allowed me to experiment with print design and alternative typographic compositions inspired by DIY culture.
Result
A striking visual campaign that could exist in real venues and on merch stands. It adds a gritty, high-impact piece to my portfolio, demonstrating my ability to design for music culture with boldness and attitude.
