Gong Cha is a premium bubble tea franchise that first began in Taiwan, and has since expanded to several countries globally, including Canada. They pride themselves on brewing the freshest and highest quality teas, which are made with precision to extract and produce the same depth of flavor in every drink.

A key focus in my process was determining how to condense and simplify the information on the old website into something more approachable and digestible. The old website lacked cohesiveness and was so visually stimulating and saturated with content that important information was difficult to pinpoint. There was also a lot of repetitive and outdated information across the different pages. This made the overall site difficult and unpleasant to navigate through. It also did not convey the sophistication and feeling of quality that Gong Cha as a brand represents.

In my redesign, I aimed to simplify and condense both visual and textual information, make the site easy to navigate, and present a visual image that accurately represented Gong Cha as a brand.
