This campaign was developed in collaboration with First Link to provide support to people of all ages affected by Alzheimer's disease. Beyond offering practical help, the proposal sought to humanize the impact of this condition, reminding us that those who face it are still valuable members of our society.

Project Details:

Goal: Emphasized that having Alzheimer's does not mean becoming invisible. Through personal stories and inspiring portraits, the campaign seeks to break down stigmas and encourage empathy. .

Creative Process: An initial meeting was held with the communications team to define an inclusive and empathetic strategy, and a thematic research and concept development, refined through iteration, led to the desired result.

Challenges: The biggest challenge was to develop a concept that balanced humour and sensitivity without falling into clichés.

Methodology:

A brainstorming process generated with the teammate, different initial options were developed, and through feedback and external comments, elements were eliminated.

Tools:

Adobe Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) for logos and graphic pieces. DALL-E: Creation of unique visual elements.

Feedback: Constant feedback from colleagues and directors contributed to fine-tune details and compositions.

Result: Visual messages can be designed to inform and connect emotionally with the audience, without offending, reaffirming my commitment to effective communication.

The Alzheimer Society of Canada (ASC)

is the leading nationwide health charity supporting people living with all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease—along with care partner sand their families.

Through individual chapters across Canada, they offer programs and support services, raise funds to advance research, advocate for policy change and increase public awareness. The local chapter is officially called the Alzheimer Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland & Haliburton (ASPKLNH).
