Triage is a health mobile app that enables users to book Health Practitioners within a specific environment. I worked on the MVP mobile design for both Clients and Health Practitioners.

🕵🏽The Challenges:
TriageAccess aims to make accessing quality healthcare as simple and immediate as possible, especially from the comfort of your home.
So I created solutions for the challenges below:
Accessing healthcare is still stressful and time-consuming, with long hospital queues, delays, and limited convenience for patients who need care at home.
There is a lack of reliable platforms that allow users to easily find and book verified clinical practitioners for home visits.
Trust is a major barrier, as patients are often hesitant to allow unknown healthcare professionals into their homes without clear verification and credibility.
Many existing health platforms focus on telemedicine, with limited solutions for physical, in-person care at the user’s location.
Users need a simple and fast booking experience, especially when they are unwell, but current systems are often complex and overwhelming.
Managing medical records, doctors’ notes, and past appointments is fragmented, making it difficult for users to keep track of their health history.
There is limited transparency around pricing, availability, and service details, which reduces user confidence and decision-making speed.
Healthcare apps often lack intuitive navigation, making it harder for users to quickly find the right service or clinical practitioner.
Scheduling multiple or recurring appointments for ongoing care is not well supported in most platforms.

✍️ My Approach:
To address these challenges, I focused on designing an experience that is simple, trustworthy, and user-first, especially for users who may be stressed or unwell:
I broke down complex healthcare processes into simple, guided steps. Every screen was designed to answer one question at a time, reducing cognitive load and making actions feel effortless.
I prioritised elements that build confidence, such as verified badges, clear practitioner profiles, transparent pricing, and structured medical records. The goal was to make users feel safe at every step.
Instead of overwhelming users with options, I structured the app around key actions like booking, viewing appointments, and accessing records. This ensured users could quickly complete tasks without confusion.
I maintained consistent patterns across booking, records, and profiles so users could easily learn and navigate the app without friction.
I designed meaningful empty states and onboarding cues to help new users understand what to do next, encouraging engagement from the start.
I considered scenarios where users might be in a hurry, sick, or booking for someone else, and optimised flows to be fast, forgiving, and easy to complete.

🎉Results:
I designed TriageAccess to remove the common barriers people face when seeking care. For exapmle; long hospital queues, uncertainty about who to trust, and the stress of navigating healthcare systems.
Instead, I provided a seamless way for users to discover, book, and receive care from verified clinical practitioners with clarity and confidence.
At its core, TriageAccess is designed to give users control, convenience, and peace of mind by bringing healthcare directly to them, while ensuring that every interaction feels safe, reliable, and easy to manage.
