Year: 2018-2021 This venture set out to totally revamp the user interface of our app across iOS and Android, aiming for a fresh, modern vibe that resonates with the younger crowd. We also folded in some sleek web components for a cohesive cross-platform experience. As the UX maestro on this gig, I took the helm on reimagining the entire interface, starting from scratch. My journey kicked off with deep-dive user research to really get under the hood of what wasn’t clicking with our current app. Armed with insights, I mapped out user journeys to spotlight our goals and spotlight areas ripe for innovation.

From there, it was all about sketching up some initial wireframes to get our ideas flowing, followed by a cycle of user feedback-driven UI refinements. The final lap involved laying out the delivery roadmap and planning for future feature rollouts. And hey, it paid off—big time. We massively upgraded the onboarding experience, boosting it by over 76%. But that’s not all; we managed to fuel our user base from 4 million to a whopping 20 million in just a two-year sprint. This project wasn’t just about a facelift; it redefined how users engage with our app, making it a win-win in the UX playbook.
