This project was all about managing PMO team across various location, process streamlining and PMO set up in India. My main responsibilities were:
1. Global Project Management Expertise & Growth :
Goal:
Leverage your experience in managing professional services projects across EMEA, NA, and APAC to drive business development and PMO growth.
Strategy:
Establish strong stakeholder relationships in key regions.
Develop new business opportunities and ensure PMO expansion in India.
Support multiple programs across regions by coaching and developing PMO resources.
Foster a collaborative environment with BU partners for smooth transition of tasks.
Outcome
:
Increased project success rates and client satisfaction across regions.
Expansion of PMO services in India and other locations.
Enhanced team capacity and capability to handle complex projects.
Stronger partnerships with BU partners leading to improved project delivery.
2. Streamlined & Effective Project Operations.
Goal
:
Implement efficient project management methodologies to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Strategy:
Oversee all SOWs and governance agreements for EMEA partners.
Strategize and offshoring PMO work to India by simplifying processes and leading major transitions.
Maintain strong PMO governance through reports, dashboards, and data analysis.
Develop and implement a PMO roadmap for continuous improvement and learning opportunities.
Outcome:
Improved project delivery timelines and reduced costs.
Enhanced project visibility and risk management.
Increased efficiency and productivity of the PMO team.
Continuous improvement in PMO processes and capabilities.
3. Leadership & Team Performance :
Goal
:
Foster a high-performing team environment through effective leadership, coaching, and talent management.
Strategy
:
Demonstrate strong people management skills by developing and coaching PMO resources.
Be a point of contact for new hiring and ensure timely updates on demand planning tools.
Accountable for yearly performance evaluations for the professional services team.
Act as a Program Management coach for the team and ensure cross-training to avoid single point of failure.
Lead the team through organizational changes by promoting an adaptive culture.
Provide Sr. VPs with all the data needed for informed decision-making around program status.
Outcome:
