Flexchange: Digital Gift Card Exchange Platform | Figma

Client: Ojo Gbenga, a fintech entrepreneur based in Nigeria who identified an opportunity in the digital currency exchange market.

My Role: I led the UX/UI design process, creating wireframes, mockups, and a comprehensive prototype in Figma. I implemented design thinking methodologies to ensure the platform addressed real user needs while maintaining visual appeal and functionality.

Problem: In Nigeria's growing digital economy, users struggled with inefficient gift card exchange platforms that offered poor rates, had clunky interfaces, and lacked security features. Many users were unable to easily convert gift cards and other digital assets into local currency, creating friction in the digital economy.

Approach: Working closely with Gbenga, I conducted extensive user research to understand the pain points in the gift card exchange process. Using Figma, I designed an intuitive platform that prioritizes security, transparency, and ease of use. The design focused on creating a seamless user journey from card validation to cash receipt, with clear rate information and transaction tracking.

Solution: Flexchange provides users with a secure platform to exchange various gift cards and digital assets for monetary value. The responsive design works flawlessly across all devices.

Results: Initial testing showed that users completed transactions 40% faster than on competing platforms. The clear interface reduced customer support inquiries by 35%, and the transparent rate system helped build immediate trust with new users. The platform is positioned to capture significant market share in Nigeria's digital exchange space.
