American Security Cabinets, a subsidiary of Walmart, supplies security cabinets to Walmart stores. Their production line had a legacy ERP system that was all over the place and needed a massive overhaul. I had the opportunity to fully design the software and fix the problems they were facing in production due to their system.

In this shot, I've gathered the card-style solutions I made for the ERP. To make sure the designs are easy to digest for the user, had to make everything eye-soothing for the masses.

First part of the process was to pinpoint the problems, snippets :

• Operational friction between the administrative and factory teams.

• Inconsistent order tracking.

• Time lost reconciling data across systems.

• Reduced visibility across assembly stages.

I designed a centralised internal production ERP to unify manufacturing workflows from order intake to factory-floor execution.

Unified six disconnected operational processes into a single system.

Designed a tabular-first interface to manage hundreds of active orders with real-time status updates.

Applied high-contrast visuals and clear status indicators suitable for factory environments.

Introduced a production timeline to track each order’s progress across assembly stages.

The ERP replaced manual tracking tools, reduced lost-order incidents, and significantly shortened onboarding time for new administrative staff.
