Challenge
The gallery wanted to expand their digital reach and make their catalog more shoppable online. Their previous site lacked soul, it didn’t reflect the artistic, curated nature of their collection and was visually flat. The shop flow also lacked clarity.

Solution
We treated this refresh like building a digital gallery:
• Visual Curation: Designed the site like a virtual exhibition. Each piece gets room to breathe. Elegant white space, hover zooms, and modular layouts mirror a physical gallery vibe.
• Luxury UX: Clear pathways from discovery to purchase with a focus on collectors’ behaviours. Wishlist functions, storytelling on artist pages, and better filtering all create a more intentional shopping experience.
• Brand Expression: Soft serif type, deep black and canvas whites, subtle motion. The site now feels like a high end gallery. We also introduced subtle branding elements like a new favicon and refined logo spacing.
Impact
The refresh helped reposition Vache Bleue Galleries for an international audience, with more collectors engaging directly through the site. Sales volume grew, but more importantly, so did perceived value allowing the gallery to confidently raise price points on select limited editions.
