Sano is a conceptual brand identity designed for a sleep support platform driven by artificial intelligence. The aim was to create a system that feels advanced but not clinical — smart, but never overwhelming. Sleep is a deeply human experience, and Sano is positioned at the intersection of technology and calm. This concept explores how a brand in the wellness and AI space can feel trustworthy, refined, and gentle — not through clichés of softness, but through considered visual restraint.

At its core, Sano is about helping people sleep better — not by offering sleep as a luxury, but as a right supported by intelligent tools. That belief shaped the tone and form of the brand: confident, clear, and subtle in its sophistication. The visual identity had to communicate clarity without being generic, and intelligence without being cold. It leans into contrast — dark backgrounds and violet gradients — to suggest depth and technology, but always grounds the experience in simplicity.

The logo mark is abstract and minimal, composed of two horizontal fluid lines within a soft, rounded form. These lines represent the flow of breath, rhythm of sleep, and the calm consistency that users should feel when engaging with the platform. It’s intentionally ambiguous — not a literal symbol, but one that carries meaning through form and tone. This allows it to scale effortlessly from a compact app icon to large-format signage without losing clarity or presence. The logotype is set in a rounded grotesque typeface that brings a modern warmth to the system. It avoids sharp edges, giving the name a soft tech feel — reliable, human, and smart.

The palette is based on a range of deep purples, clean whites, and rich blacks. The intention here is focus: letting the content stand out while the brand identity holds a clear and composed backdrop.

Purple was chosen not just for its association with night and rest, but for its dual character — both luxurious and technical. In UI mockups, Sano’s app icon uses the full logo mark, giving it instant recognizability even at small sizes.
