About the Project:

This project involves developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy for a newly relaunched podcast exploring spirituality, relationships, purpose, and the human condition.

Platforms: Spotify, Apply Podcasts, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

My Role:

As a Social Media Strategist and Content Creator, I was responsible for:

Social Media Audit and Recommendations: Conducted a comprehensive social media audit and provided recommendations for optimizing the client's social media presence. This included identifying relevant hashtags, suggesting organic methods to attract followers, and developing a content schedule with specific content types.

Audience Analysis: Conducted in-depth research to understand the target audience's demographics, interests, and online behavior.

Brand Kit and Guidelines: Created a brand kit and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and professionalism across all social media platforms.

Content Strategy and Creation: Developed a content strategy and created engaging social media content, including static posts, reels, stories, and videos. All content was optimized with relevant keywords to improve reach and discoverability.

Community Building: Created a Facebook group and invited followers from other platforms to join, fostering a sense of community among listeners. Additionally, joined relevant Facebook groups and posted content to reach new audiences.

Growth Strategy: Implemented digital marketing tactics to reach new audiences and drive podcast growth.

Analytics and Reporting: Created and submitted weekly social media marketing reports, tracking key metrics and providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Results:

Increased Engagement: Successfully increased engagement rates on both Instagram and TikTok, with Instagram reaching a maximum of 4% engagement, and TikTok achieving a maximum of 1.34%.

Brand Awareness: Increased brand awareness through consistent and targeted social media content.

Expansion of Services: Due to the success of the project, the client has expanded services to include their other businesses and the podcast's YouTube account.
