In this project, we transitioned the client, Your Labels Now, from their outdated custom system to WordPress and Magento 2 for their CMS and eCommerce platforms. The project's centerpiece was the quoting tool, a vital component that drives all sales.

The client was previously operating on an antiquated custom system, which was inhibiting their sales and marketing capabilities. The key issue was the lack of flexibility and efficiency in their quoting tool and pricing algorithm.

I constructed the quoting tool using the core Checkout experience as a guide, creating each step and element as a custom KnockoutJS component. This tool generates a product on the fly and adds it to the user's cart. Additionally, we rebuilt the client's proprietary pricing algorithm from the original .NET code into a Magento module, replacing all hard-coded values with manageable values in Magento.
