How a growing architecture firm gained clarity, confidence, and a true digital partner.
Exposition
Touzet Studio is a Miami-based architecture firm led by partners Jackie and Carlos Touzet, known for refined residential, commercial, and hospitality work. As creative leaders, they balance design excellence with the realities of running a growing firm—client relationships, internal operations, and long-term positioning.
Their website, built years earlier on WordPress, had quietly become an operational burden. Updates required technical help, the system felt fragile, and the experience no longer matched the level of professionalism they brought to their work. What should have been a strategic asset had become something they avoided altogether.
Compelling event
Jackie and Carlos weren’t simply looking for a redesign. They were looking for confidence and relief - a website they didn’t have to personally manage or worry about.
Past experiences with vendors had been messy: unclear communication, reactive execution, and teams focused on tactics without understanding business goals. This time, they wanted a partner who could guide decisions, align creative and technical work with the firm’s objectives, and remove complexity from their plate. In essence, they were seeking an agency that could operate at an executive level.
The process
Fri3nds approached the project as a leadership partnership, not a production sprint. Discovery focused on how Touzet Studio operates at the top - how decisions are made, where friction had existed before, and what success looked like beyond aesthetics.
Research and strategy informed every recommendation. The site structure and content hierarchy were rebuilt to clearly communicate Touzet Studio’s services, credibility, and positioning. Design directions were intentionally limited and framed strategically, allowing Jackie and Carlos to give decisive feedback without becoming design managers.
On the technical side, Fri3nds fully owned the complexity. Years of WordPress content were carefully migrated into Webflow with a future-proof CMS structure, while performance, interactions, and maintainability were handled behind the scenes. Training was delivered progressively, ensuring the internal team could confidently manage updates without needing technical expertise.
The outcome
The final website is a calm, confident evolution of Touzet Studio’s brand. The design elevates the architectural work without competing with it, using subtle interactions and thoughtful pacing to convey polish and restraint.
More importantly, the site is now a reliable system. The CMS is intuitive, services are clearly communicated, and the platform can evolve without constant oversight. Jackie and Carlos now have a digital foundation they trust.
The impact
The biggest win wasn’t the website - it was the shift in partnership. Carlos, previously disengaged from web projects due to technical friction, became confident and involved. Jackie gained clarity that the site was finally aligned with the firm’s broader goals.
Post-launch conversations quickly expanded into future phases and brand considerations. When Fri3nds later met with the Touzet team at Art Basel, the focus wasn’t on issues - it was on opportunity.
Touzet Studio didn’t just receive a new website. They gained a digital partner who provides structure, foresight, and calm execution—allowing leadership to stay focused on what matters most.
