AR Gamified Game Conference

I developed a cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) application tailored specifically for the Liu Game Conference attendees. This application offers a blend of interactive gaming and essential conference features, ensuring both fun and functionality. I was also responsible for the dressing and visual aesthetics of the conference, decorating with an 8-bit theme.

Pokemon Hunt: Using the AR capability of the application, attendees can activate their phone's camera and embark on a thrilling quest to find and capture virtual Pokemon scattered throughout the conference venue. This immersive experience encourages attendees to explore different parts of the venue while catching their favorite Pokemon.

Asteroid Defense: Attendees are plunged into an intergalactic challenge where they must defend themselves from a barrage of incoming asteroids. By pointing their devices at the floor, walls, or even the sky, users will see these virtual asteroids and can swipe or tap to destroy them, enhancing their AR gaming experience.

Dragon Battle Co-op: This feature stands out as attendees can team up with friends to battle a mighty dragon. Leveraging AR, the dragon appears to soar and dive in the real world, with users employing their devices to strategize, attack, and defend. This cooperative gameplay promotes teamwork and networking among conference participants.

Interactive Schedule: The application boasts a user-friendly schedule that lists all events, workshops, and sessions. Attendees can set reminders, mark their favorite events, and even get real-time notifications about any changes or updates.

Venue Map with AR Navigation: Beyond a traditional map, the AR feature can guide attendees to their desired locations within the conference venue. By simply selecting a location, the AR will overlay directional arrows on the real-world view, making navigation intuitive and engaging.

Information Booth: This digital booth provides answers to frequently asked questions, offers details about guest speakers, and gives insights into exhibitors and sponsors. It's a one-stop-shop for all conference-related information.

Networking Feature: Attendees can create profiles, share their contact information, and connect with fellow participants, fostering a sense of community and facilitating business or academic collaborations.

Feedback and Survey: To continuously improve the conference experience, the application has an integrated feedback system where attendees can rate sessions, leave comments, and fill out post-conference surveys.
