Bonsai is a startup app built to make work feel simpler and more connected. The goal of these short reels was to turn that product promise into something immediate: clear enough to understand in seconds, but visually strong enough to stop the scroll.
Rather than relying on a traditional screen-recording walkthrough, I used motion design as the main storytelling device. Product moments, typography, transitions, and rhythmic pacing work together to communicate the app’s value while keeping the visuals polished, modern, and energetic.
The project explores two creative directions:
One Place, Not Ten — a product-led reel built around the frustration of jumping between too many tools and the relief of bringing the workflow into one place.
Life Changed — a benefit-led variation focused on how a smoother system can change the feeling of running a business, not just the mechanics behind it.
The result is a flexible short-form system that presents a software product with the speed of social content and the clarity of a focused product story.
