HerNorm.com is a progressive relationship blog discussing various topics about dating, marriage, love life, etc. The blog had an outdated identity and website design, which needed a complete overhaul from scratch. The redesign was necessary before monetizing of the blog.
The client opted for a mobile-first strategy, to best address the needs of their user base.

The client asked for a more neutral visual identity, aiming to broaden their audience to male readers and align with the major players of their field.
New branding: a modern bold typeface and lively primary color
I proposed a palette of muted pastel tones, used as playful highlights throughout the pure white canvas, paired with a bold serif typeface for the titles.
New desktop homepage and the range of pastel secondary colors in use
In addition to the complete redesign of the branding and website, I created 5 sample artworks as well as illustration guidelines. This will help HerNorm create a unique yet consistent style over time.
Sample artworks for HerNorm's blog posts
I created these artworks to illustrate the topics covered in 5 selected articles: mistrust, infidelity, astrology, self-improvement and forbidden love.
