Content Strategy & SMM - Hospice of the Fisher Home

Overview Hospice of the Fisher Home partnered with me to oversee their content strategy, social media management, and overall brand presence. The goal was to connect with the community and raise awareness of their services and fundraising efforts. My role was to create compelling narratives, enhance their online visibility, and align content with their nonprofit mission.

The organization needed to build a strong, consistent digital presence that could engage local audiences and generate support for fundraising.

The website was outdated and lacked SEO optimization, impacting discoverability and user experience.

The social media accounts had not been fully optimized or engaged with their target community.

My Role As the lead strategist and content manager:

Developed and implemented an integrated content strategy for both the website and social media platforms.

Secured a $10,000 grant through Google AdGrants and created and managed all ad campaigns to drive awareness and support for fundraising initiatives.

Led final stages of the redesign of the hospice’s website, including copywriting, SEO strategy, and gallery integration.

Crafted compelling stories, including patient and staff narratives, and integrated them into social media campaigns.

Managed community engagement and fundraising initiatives across Facebook and Instagram.

Collaborated closely with the executive director and donor management team to align content with organizational goals.

Led bi-weekly meetings to ensure cohesive content planning and execution.

Organized fundraising events, collaborating closely with the community outreach committee to ensure successful execution.

Created all marketing materials for events, including digital graphics, flyers, and email campaigns.

Conduct in-depth research into the hospice care industry and community needs.

Work closely with the executive director to align messaging with Hospice of the Fisher Home’s mission and values.

Develop monthly content calendars, ensuring a balance between emotional storytelling, educational posts, and fundraising promotions.

Create blog posts, social media captions, and graphics that resonated with families, donors, and volunteers.

Managed event listings on platforms like Wix to boost attendance and visibility.

Led the full revamp of the hospice’s website, optimizing it for both SEO and user experience.

Focused on integrating patient stories, testimonials, and a clean design that reflected the organization’s compassionate nature.

Worked cross-functionally with the executive director and donor management teams to ensure content aligned with the organization’s goals and fundraising initiatives.

Held regular feedback sessions with the team to iterate and improve content strategy.

Successfully revamped the website, improving SEO and increasing organic and direct traffic.

Created engaging social media campaigns that significantly boosted audience engagement and brand visibility.
