Celebrating the city of Braga the EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF YOUTH the "What Future?" theme becomes very suitable. In virtue of this celebration, Braga was visited by thousands of young people who flocked to the forums and other activities carried out throughout the year, becoming a preferential epicenter for the theme chosen by the International Photography Festival -  Encontros da Imagem, which celebrated this year its 24th edition.

Facing Youth - tried to give a comprehensive overview of European youth. In addition to that exposure met scheduled other exhibitions of young authors and who were disseminated in various spaces of the exhibition of the city. In addition to the wide range of exhibitions, where included all the countries of the European Community, were scheduled a set of activities (conferences, debates, projections, workshops) aimed at the youth world in order to not only lead to better understand their active status quo, as well as provide leisure time and tools to decode the visual arts today.
