Character development and animation for Teachers Pet, a space-themed educational platform, produced through Autobridge. Cosmic-themed character with a multi-layer Rive state machine, designed to react to student progress with facial expressions, body posture, and contextual transitions.

Educational animation has different requirements from entertainment work. The character needs to feel approachable without being distracting. Idle loops need to work for extended sessions without becoming irritating. State transitions need to feel natural at any pace of student interaction. And the whole system has to embed cleanly into a web app alongside other interactive content.
