The Mission :To design, brand, and market a seaweed cup start-up to investors, presenting it as a "new cup" that is 100% biodegradable by utilizing seaweed, and to serve as a catalyst for a healthier and better environment.

Outcome: The idea and design were great, and we did some cool marketing, but we hit a roadblock with the cost. Many investors liked what we were doing, but it was just too expensive. Building a lab, working with scientists, and buying or borrowing patents for algae turned out to be too much.
Impact: People really liked our brand, and they could see we wanted to do good things for the world. But, sadly, our big dreams didn't match up with what we could actually do.
This project for MARANE took almost a year. You might wonder why I'm putting it in my portfolio. Well, I worked hard on it, and I believe it's important to show what I've done, even if it didn't work out perfectly.
