CCC Foundation - Web Design and Development for NGO

The Caroline’s Casual Corner Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization for women who are victims of Domestic Violence.

Caroline (Founder of CCC Foundation) Approached me for the redesign of her very outdated website with specific goals in mind. Primarily, they envisioned a more Dark, Bold website for both their user base and themselves. CCC envisioned an enjoyable user experience (UX) that used clear navigation and workflows. Additionally, this experience would also include an online donations portal that integrated with Paypal.

Based on the goals and the opportunities uncovered with CCC during the discovery process, I offered recommendations to improve page structure and content organization that would create consistency throughout the site. Each page would be created with a purpose and call-to-action, like targeting users on the homepage who were looking for support for example. To achieve a friendly UX, I incorporated a very modern design with eye-catching imagery and videos, fit for any type of device. The easy-to-use content management system (CMS) gives CCC the opportunity to create and update the content at any point to keep the site fresh and current.

CCC’s newly redesigned website now achieves its goals of being interactive, Dark and Bold, and user-friendly for both its users and themselves. I added several dynamic and interactive components throughout, such as videos, and number animations to keep users interested and engaged on every page they click to. By adding more visual elements and incorporating team members and organizational culture into the website, CCC’s web presence has been given more life.
