The Vision
Rebel Remake is a sustainable brand that gives "trash" a second life, transforming discarded materials into high-end artwork and decor. The client needed a professional yet "hip" digital storefront that could handle a massive inventory of one-of-a-kind items while remaining simple enough for her to manage without a technical background.
The Challenge
The project required balancing a heavy inventory with high performance. With a stocked product inventory (ranging from album cover puzzles to billboards), the primary hurdle was ensuring the site remained fast and easy to navigate. Specifically, the "back" function needed to be flawless so that customers wouldn't lose their place in the shop after viewing a specific item.
The Solution
I built the site from scratch with a focus on User Experience (UX) and Search Engine Visibility.
Custom Branding: Implemented an "earthy" palette and sans-serif typography to align with the brand’s eco-conscious identity.
Infrastructure: Configured a robust WooCommerce backend designed to support 300+ individual listings with room for unlimited growth.
Technical SEO: Optimized high-resolution images (2048x2048) through compression to ensure lightning-fast load times. I also implemented custom Alt Text and meta descriptions for every page to boost organic search rankings.
Navigation Logic: Fine-tuned the store's architecture to prioritize seamless browsing, ensuring the "back" button functionality was intuitive and persistent.
