When Misi’s founders first approached me, they had a bold vision—an app that would revolutionize personal styling. They wanted to give users the power to discover and embrace their unique beauty through tailored fashion and beauty recommendations.
But a great idea alone wasn’t enough. The challenge was clear: How do we turn this vision into a seamless, intuitive experience that feels like having a personal stylist in your pocket?
I was excited to take on the challenge.
Designing an Effortless Experience
From the beginning, my goal was to make beauty and fashion effortless. Every element of the app was designed with the user in mind—prioritizing clarity, ease, and confidence.
🔹 Personalized Color Analysis – Users no longer had to guess which colors suited them best. The app analyzed natural tones and provided tailored suggestions to enhance their features.
🔹 Tailored Beauty Recommendations – Makeup suggestions weren’t generic; they were curated to match individual users, making everyone feel seen, understood, and celebrated.
🔹 Effortless Shopping – Shopping for beauty and fashion became stress-free. Personalized palettes and curated options streamlined the experience, turning style discovery into an enjoyable journey.
