Pei Wei is a Pan-Asian cuisine fast casual chain with over 200 locations nationwide. They wanted to integrate online ordering with their mobile rewards app.

In my time as product designer and art director for Thanx we often had merchants ask us for functionality beyond our app’s normal focus on customer loyalty and rewards. In this case Pei Wei asked us to integrate their chosen online ordering service, Olo, into the custom-branded mobile app we were building them.

I researched Olo’s documentation and tested several live Olo apps to see what the system was capable of, and worked with Thanx’s engineering team to create an integrated design that would serve both the user and the brand.
