The Challenge

Crypmoji had an exceptional product: a secure, encrypted communications platform embedded directly into users’ native keyboards, allowing not just private chats but also large-file sharing with enterprise-grade encryption. Yet its brand identity didn’t align with the industries where trust and compliance matter most.
After a brand audit, we helped reposition the app towards law firms, medical institutions, and financial professionals - sectors where strict data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks leave no room for error. However, Crypmoji’s branding still leaned playful and consumer-oriented, which risked undermining credibility with high-stakes decision-makers.
The challenge was to reimagine Crypmoji’s identity so it would be seen as what it truly was: a professional-grade, compliance-ready security solution for regulated industries.

The Brand Audit

Our audit confirmed the disconnect:
Visual style was too playful, undermining credibility.
Messaging didn’t emphasise compliance or regulatory protection.
Positioning failed to reflect the mission-critical value Crypmoji offers to professional firms.
The findings underscored the need to shift Crypmoji from a consumer privacy app into a trusted compliance partner for high-regulation industries.

Positioning & Storytelling

We repositioned Crypmoji’s brand narrative around compliance, security, and control. The core story became:
“Crypmoji empowers professionals in law, healthcare, and finance to safeguard sensitive communications and files, ensuring they stay compliant, avoid fines, and protect client trust.”
The messaging framework was carefully designed to speak the language of enterprise buyers: risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, client confidentiality, and operational simplicity. Crypmoji was no longer just about security, it was about protecting reputations and avoiding costly breaches.

Brand Identity Redesign

Together with one of the lead designers at my studio, Namewerk.com, we reshaped the visual identity into something professional, sleek, and authoritative.
Logo: streamlined and modernised for credibility.
Colour palette: black, white, and neon green — combining security, clarity, and innovation.
Typography: sharp, minimal, and precise, reflecting trust and professionalism.
The new identity looked right at home in the boardrooms of law firms and financial institutions.

Website Redesign

The final step was redesigning Crypmoji.com into a trusted digital storefront for the brand.
Clean, modern layouts put security and compliance at the forefront.
Clear feature explanations highlighted Crypmoji as an all-in-one security solution for professional firms.
All the copy ensured the tone balanced technical credibility with approachability — presenting Crypmoji as serious enough for compliance officers, but accessible enough for everyday professional use.

UI Redesign

For legal, medical, and financial professionals, usability is non-negotiable. We overhauled the app UI to ensure encryption and compliance workflows felt simple and seamless. The design emphasised clarity and ease of use while maintaining a sophisticated, enterprise-ready aesthetic. Secure communication now felt not just safe, but effortless.

The Results

Crypmoji’s transformation was both visual and strategic. With its new story, identity, UI, and website, the brand now projects trust, authority, and enterprise-readiness.
What once looked like a consumer app now feels like a compliance partner - capable of reassuring legal teams, medical institutions, and financial firms that their data is secure and their reputations protected.
The shift has allowed Crypmoji to firmly position itself as a professional-grade encryption solution in industries where security isn’t optional - it’s everything.
