Volumetric Glass Photo is a native WebGL2 component for Framer that places an image on a physical plane inside a refractive 3D glass volume.
Unlike a simple glass overlay, the image is sampled only after the camera ray enters the object. This creates convincing internal depth, chromatic refraction, rim reflections and a readable side profile during rotation.
Designers can choose between six shapes and customize glass depth, tint, density, IOR, highlights, image fit, animation and pointer interaction without touching code.
The component is fully responsive, dependency-free, viewport-aware, reduced-motion friendly and optimized for Framer's static rendering contexts.
