GC Trees: Framer Rebuild, Service Pages, CMS & SEO
A Gold Coast arborist’s site, taken from a layout fix to a full rebrand with 8 service pages, a self-managed resources hub and SEO foundations, across three phases.
Overview
GC Tree Solutions is a Gold Coast arborist company serving residential, commercial and civil clients across South East Queensland. What started as a quick layout fix turned into an ongoing partnership. Across three phases, the site went from a single landing page to a structured, search-ready website that the team can update themselves.

The Challenge
The original site had layout and responsive issues and no room to grow. It was a single page with no way to publish content, no dedicated pages for individual services, and no search setup behind it. For a local trade business that gets most of its work from Google, that meant missing the people searching for specific services like stump grinding or root barriers.
My role
Design and Framer development across every phase: layout, responsive build, CMS architecture, copywriting for the service pages, SEO setup and ongoing content updates.
Phase 1: Landing page fix
A responsive and layout cleanup across desktop and mobile, delivered within 72 hours. Alongside the fix, I refreshed the landing page itself:
A clearer hierarchy, with refined spacing and typography
A quote form with service selection, positioned as the obvious next step
A services grid for the core offerings
Refreshed testimonials and a partner-logo carousel
An Instagram feed showing recent jobs
Phase 2: Resources hub and SEO
The team had a document full of answers they give customers every day. I turned it into a searchable resources hub:
A Framer CMS collection with a template page and an index page, so each FAQ is its own indexable page
A meta title and description for every entry, plus related questions linked at the bottom to keep readers moving
An alt text field built into the CMS, so every new post carries its own
Featured entries pulled onto the homepage as linked rows
Then the SEO groundwork:
Google Search Console set up and the sitemap submitted
The homepage, which had been set to hidden from search engines, made indexable
LocalBusiness structured data added across the site, so Google understands the business, its location and its services
Heading structure cleaned up across the homepage
A plain-language summary document handed over, so the client knows exactly what was set up and why

Phase 3: Rebrand and service pages
When the business rebranded to a new logo, I brought the site in line with the new identity and built a dedicated page for each service, eight in total:
Tree Removal, Pruning & Trimming, Stump Grinding, Tree Health Management, Hydro Excavation, Root Barrier Protection, Commercial Tree Management and Palm Cleaning.
Each page is driven by one CMS template:
A hero with a clear call to action and a “Compliant with” row naming the Australian Standards behind the work, such as AS 4373 for pruning and MIS303 for tree dismantling
A “See it in action” strip of vertical job videos taken from their own footage. Muted clips autoplay and clips with sound get a play button. The strip adjusts to however much footage each service has.
Service copy researched against Australian arboriculture standards, so it’s accurate without the client writing it
A sticky quote form beside the content, so the next step is always in reach

Ongoing
The site is now on a monthly retainer. A new resources post goes out each week, building search coverage one question at a time.
Outcome
A single landing page became a structured site: 8 service pages, a growing resources library and the search foundations to back them. Every service now has a page that can rank on its own and a direct path to a quote, and the team can add content without touching the build.
