Pact: Escrow dApp for Freelance Payments

A smart-contract escrow for freelance work: the client locks payment, the freelancer delivers and gets paid. Live on Base Sepolia.

Freelancers deliver the work and then wait weeks to get paid. Clients hesitate to pay upfront because the work might never arrive. Both sides end up trusting a promise.

The solution 

Pact puts the payment in a smart contract before the work starts:

The client locks the payment when the job begins

The freelancer marks the work delivered

The client releases the money in one click

If the client goes silent for 3 days, the freelancer can claim it

If nothing is delivered by the deadline, the client gets a refund

How it's built 

The contract is small on purpose, so it's easy to read and hard to misuse. There's no admin key, no platform wallet and no fee: only the client and the freelancer can move the money, and only by the rules above.
