Creative Online Learning Website Design

Muyaspace is a digital platform designed to empower local artists, craft makers, and creative communities by providing them with a space to learn, share, and sell their handmade art. The goal was to create an intuitive, mobile-first learning and marketplace system that blends cultural authenticity with modern usability.

Artists and learners faced two major barriers:

Accessibility: Traditional art classes were limited to in-person workshops, excluding many due to cost and location.

Digital Gap: Many creators lacked exposure to digital tools and platforms, making it harder to monetize their craft.

Our challenge was to design a seamless platform where learning, community building, and selling could coexist — while staying visually authentic to the creative culture it represents.

Research & Insights – Conducted interviews with artisans, learners, and cultural organizations to understand their needs and motivations.

Experience Mapping – Designed user flows for two main groups: learners seeking structured courses and artists wanting to share/sell their creations.

Design & Prototyping – Developed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and a scalable design system in Figma.

Testing & Iteration – Validated usability through moderated testing with local creators, refining navigation and community features.

Learning Hub: Structured courses with video, step-by-step lessons, and progress tracking.

Marketplace: A digital storefront for artists to showcase and sell their handmade products.

Community Forums: Peer feedback and cultural storytelling to enhance engagement.

Mobile-First UI: Minimalist, culturally inspired design patterns optimized for accessibility.
