Medela is a global brand focusing on mothers in the first month after birth. As a UX Consultant, I had the pleasure to work with them on one of their new products exploring a possible HMI solution for a breast pump. While writing this the project is still in development and therefore all details are confidential. After the initial concept phase, we conducted two rounds of user testing, including mothers and health care specialists. In both rounds we got amazing feedback, stating that the design is a major improvement and we achieved During an overall SUS score of 91.3%, which is excellent.
