My Secret Santa: A Premium Holiday Web App #HolidayChallenge
A premium web app that automates gift exchanges for friends, families, and teams, built with Replit, Lovart, FLORA, Figma, Magic Path, Descript & Suno.
For #HolidayChallenge2025, I built My Secret Santa, a premium web app that automates gift exchanges for friends, families, and teams.
The goal was simple but ambitious:
create a fully functional, festive, and delightful experience that feels magical while solving a real holiday problem: organizing Secret Santa without friction.
Users can:
Sign up and create private events
Automatically assign gift pairs
Add wishlists and preferences
Receive personalized โWrappedโ holiday cards
Enjoy a playful, cinematic holiday atmosphere
What makes this project special isnโt just the final product, itโs how many tools were orchestrated together into one cohesive experience.
The Challenge
Holiday products usually feel rushed, generic, or overly simple.
I wanted to prove that a seasonal project can still feel premium, well-designed, and technically solid.
The real challenge:
Integrate multiple creative + technical tools
Keep a consistent visual language
Deliver a smooth UX despite the complexity
Ship something that feels joyful, not overwhelming
Tool Stack Philosophy
This project was designed as a tool-driven experiment.
Instead of relying on a single platform, I intentionally combined 7+ tools, each chosen for what it does best: development, visuals, audio, motion, storytelling, and polish.
Development & Infrastructure
Replit: Code, Backend & Database
Replit was the backbone of the project.
Full web app logic
User authentication
Event creation & management
Random Secret Santa matching
Database for users, events, and wishlists
Replit allowed me to prototype fast, iterate daily, and deploy without friction essential for a time-boxed challenge like this.

Audio & Holiday Vibes
Suno: Custom Holiday Music
Holiday products live or die by atmosphere.
With Suno, I generated custom holiday-style music that:
Enhances immersion
Feels playful, not generic
Reinforces the seasonal mood
This small detail adds a surprisingly strong emotional layer to the experience.
Voice & Video Content
Descript: Voiceovers & Video Editing
All voiceovers and promotional videos were created using Descript.
Clean narration
Fast iteration
Easy syncing with visuals
This helped transform the project from โjust a web appโ into a presentable product story.
Design Inspiration & Direction
MagicPath: Holiday Design Exploration
Before locking the visual direction, I explored different festive aesthetics using MagicPath.
It helped define:
Color palette
Mood references
Seasonal UI direction
This step ensured that everything โ UI, visuals, avatars โ felt cohesive.
Figma: Structure, Polish & Hidden Details
Although not the main tool, Figma played a key role as an easter egg:
UI structure
UX flows
Spacing, hierarchy, and consistency
Final polish
This ensured the product feels intentional and professional, even with so many moving parts.

Personalized Wrapped Experience
Lovart AI: Custom Characters
One of the highlights of the app is the Wrapped Cards experience.
Using Lovart AI, I created:
Custom holiday characters
Playful, shareable visuals
Personalized end-of-event moments
This turns the end of the flow into something users actually want to share.
Avatars & Iconography
FLORA: Holiday Avatars & Icons
To keep the UI friendly and seasonal, I used FLORA to generate:
Holiday avatars
Icons with a consistent festive style
These details elevate the interface without making it feel childish.
Final Result
My Secret Santa is a complete holiday web app that combines:
Solid functionality
Cinematic storytelling
Custom audio and visuals
Playful personalization
A powerful multi-tool workflow
Weeks of work went into refining every detail to make it feel polished, festive, and magical.
