To empower 40 Dubai government officials to become public design leaders by supporting them in building MVPs, prototypes, and presentations for their Design Gov Missions.

Project highlights

The Design Gov program, led by ATOLYE in collaboration with Dubai Design Lab, aims to drive innovation within Dubai's government by fostering public design leadership. Over six weeks, participants worked on Design Gov Missions to create impactful solutions contributing to Dubai's sustainability and livability. As a design consultant from ATOLYE, I collaborated 1-on-1 with six participants, guiding them through designing and prototyping MVPs for their ideas.
My role involved conducting 1:1 meetings with participants to refine their concepts, followed by creating high-quality prototypes, all within tight deadlines. Project deliverables included: 1. Web and mobile app MVPs 2. Pitch decks

Uniting Dubai's filmmakers under one vision

Hamda Al Najjar, a Project Manager at Dubai Media Council, had a clear mission: to inspire and support filmmakers in Dubai. She wanted to attract talent and help a new generation of storytellers share Dubai's unique story with the world.

Designing the experience

My role was to guide Hamda in turning her idea into a prototype she could present to senior management. Together, we designed a 7-page website that showed how her vision could work in real life. The prototype included a clear overview of the initiative, with resources like workshops and funding opportunities to help filmmakers grow. It also featured a showcase section where storytellers could share their work and connect with others. This prototype helped Hamda bring her idea to life and explain it clearly to decision-makers.

Designing the solution

To support Khalifa's vision, I designed a 24-slide pitch deck that visually demonstrated the new and improved Afkari process. The slides were structured to guide stakeholders through each step of the journey, from idea submission to project implementation.
